AI Architect
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI and GenAI solutions.
Overview
Lucrodyne is an AWS and Azure Consulting Partner based in the Greater Toronto Area, serving clients across Canada and the United States. We specialize in SaaS/API development, Data & AI platforms, and Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps across leading public cloud providers.
As an AI Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions, including Generative AI, LLM-based systems, and scalable ML platforms. You will work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to translate business objectives into secure, cost-effective, and production-ready AI architectures.
This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, architectural leadership, and client-facing communication, with a strong focus on real-world deployment in regulated industries such as insurance and fintech.
Key Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to):
- Design and implement end-to-end AI/GenAI architectures
- Lead development of LLM-based applications (RAG, copilots, agents)
- Define strategies for prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model selection
- Architect multi-agent systems and orchestration workflows
- Design scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and embeddings
- Architect data platforms (data lakes, feature stores, real-time pipelines)
- Optimize data storage and lifecycle strategies (S3, Azure Blob)
- Design and deploy AI/ML systems on AWS and Azure
- Build containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (ECS, EKS, AKS)
- Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient
- Implement MLOps / LLMOps pipelines (CI/CD, deployment, automation)
- Manage model versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Develop evaluation frameworks for LLM output quality, safety, and drift
- Ensure observability across systems (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Architect solutions for PII-sensitive environments (insurance, fintech)
- Implement security, governance, and compliance best practices
- Work directly with clients, lead architecture sessions, and mentor engineering teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML
- 3+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles
