The release of Amazon RDS on VMware is now generally available, a service that delivers AWS-managed relational databases in on-premises VMware environments. This new feature makes it easy for customers by automating time-consuming administration tasks; so customers can focus on their appliations. It also makes it easy for users to set up, operate, and scale databases in their on-premises VMware vSphere environments.
