The Release of Amazon EC2 Instance Connect

Amazon EC2 Instance Connect is now available in multiple AWS regions at no additional cost, including Canada (Central). Amazon EC2 Instance Connect is a new easy and secure way to connect to your instances using Secure Shell (SSH). The EC2 Instance Connect works with SSH client and easily connects to your instances from a new browser- based SSH experience in the EC2 console. Some key features are: it allows you to control SSH access to your instances using the AWS IAM, and audit connection requests with AWS CloudTrail events.
