Amazon FreeRTOS is an IoT operating system for microcontrollers that uses software libraries for security, and connectivity to program low-powered edge devices. The benefits of using this new feature are: It is an open source, free to download and use. It also provides users with everything they need to program and collect data from connected microcontroller-based devices for IoT applications. This allows users to scale those applications across millions of devices.
