Businesses are Spending More on Cloud Computing Infrastructure Services
Businesses are spending more money on cloud computing infrastructure services to scale their existing applications. Canalys research on investments for cloud spending for 2019, found that businesses are spending $107 billion for cloud computing infrastructure services. They also discovered the top two vendors of 2019 are: AWS and Microsoft Azure. AWS got 32% of cloud infrastructure spending and Microsoft Azure got 17% of total spending.
Many organizations are using a combination of multi-cloud and hybrid IT models to get advantages from different cloud service providers for their infrastructure. AWS is leading the cloud industry by offering its customers with services that can be easily integrated into their infrastructure and are also engaging with channel partners. As cloud usage increases, the role of channel partners will become more important. Thus, organizations in all industries will continue to spend more on cloud computing infrastructure services for the next five years.
