Amazon ECS now Works with Windows Server 2019 Containers

Amazon ECS is now compatible with running Windows Server 2019 containers. The Micorosoft Windows Server 2019 Container provides a reduced container image size from about 11GB to 3GB, which means it provides you with faster and easier startup times, and better performance for your workloads. The Windows Server 2019 Container is now generally available in different AWS regions, including Canada (Central).
