Amazon EC2 z1d instances are now available in 2 new AWS regions: US East (Ohio), and Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul). Amazon EC2 z1d instances provide users with high compute performance and high memory up to 4.0 GHz, which is the fastest of any cloud instance. This new feature is ideal to use for electronic design automation (EDA), gaming, and relational database workloads with high per-core licensing costs.
